singkaban plug

This cable tv plug was my concept but it was edited by my staff, Caloy Lorenzo. The goal of this plug was to promote the Singkaban Fiesta. This was shown on all local cable channels in Bulacan.

BULILITV
"Malalaking Balita mula sa Maliliit na Tagapagbalita"

We wanted to produce a show for cable tv that will showcase programs of the provincial government as well as the latest buzz in the province. I thought of using children as talents to give news program a lighter approach. I thought that it will be a mediocre if we will just follow the usual set up of a commercial news program. Aside from the fact that we could not ever compete with them.

The talents were among the finalists of a contest held by the Provincial Public Affairs Office.

It was a bit difficult for us because we had to sustain the weekly show and we are only two in the audio-visual section of my division during that time. We had to research and shoot weekly and our talents are coming from different municipalities, from Malolos to Plaridel to San Jose del Monte City. But i'm happy, we survived.

Since we don't have resources to gather news on a weekly basis, we collected news headlines from different local newspapers and let the kiddie talents read it on cam.

Stop Child Labor!

This was exactly the message that this teaser video would like to convey. The video was produced to touch the emotions of potential sponsors as well as concerned sectors to achieve the program's goal.
